This
luxury Finnish round log cabin, with its own one acre secluded
landscaped garden, is stylishly appointed and beautifully equipped
for a self catering holiday. It is the perfect base for exploring
the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and the Clyde valley and there are many things to see and do
locally. The picturesque market town of Biggar is nearby, with
good shops, parks, museums, a golf course, tennis courts and a
variety of good restaurants. Biggar's world famous huge
hogmanay bonfire takes place here every New Year’s Eve on the High
Street.
The local area is a paradise and there are plenty of quiet
roads for cycling. Fishing is also available locally. The New
Lanark World Heritage site and the spectacular Falls of Clyde are
a short drive away. The lodge is nestled in the rolling hills of
South Lanarkshire, at the foot of the Pentland Hills, in a
beautiful rural area, yet is less than one hour drive from
Glasgow and only half an hours drive to Edinburgh. It has lovely views from the picture
windows and is very private. It has its own private parking.
Guests with small children should be aware that there is a stream
and a pond in the grounds. |
