I really
liked doing this party. One of the reasons was because Tom, a real music
enthusiast, persistently tried to challenge me for songs that I might not
have. Throughout most of the evening he failed, miserably, though with the
help of some other family members he did eventually come up with 3 songs
that I simply didn’t have – mind you, you probably wouldn’t even find them
in the bargain baskets at Woolworths or supermarkets either.
Meanwhile, Evelyn celebrated her 50th Birthday in the rather nice
venue that is the Holiday Inn, for which there was quite a good turnout of
her family and friends, some of whom had travelled quite a distance to come
to the Big EK.
OH! And I must write out a thousand lines to myself: I must remember that this is a Holiday Inn – not a Travel Lodge!
