How We Rated This Venue
*****

Daniel and Jacqueline haven't decided yet when they are going to get married but they have committed themselves to each other nonetheless, enough for all their family and friends to be squeezed into one of Allanton Miners Welfare Hall's smaller rooms.

Meanwhile, Helen was celebrating her 20th birthday on the evening and we also had some singing from the party guests.

Despite the small room and tiny floor-space that was left between the tables, the buffet (which itself was quite big) and the make-shift DJ booth, we did manage to get dancers on the floor, albeit in single file.
