It might
have been a cold wintry day outside but it didn’t stop a good turnout of
Jean’s family and friends coming to the Hollandbush Golf Club, which is
either in Lesmahagow – but it could be in Coalburn, it just depends who you
ask and where they live. We did have a small debate about that on the
evening, without actually coming to a conclusion.
Despite the dreich weather, the first day of advent, the official start to
the mad Christmas shopping rush – oh and the Christmas decorations getting
in the way of anyone who was taller than 5’8’’, everyone at the party was in
good spirits to help Jean celebrate being in her thirties (still) until the
middle of the following week.
Jean said at the end of the party that she completely forgot to tell people
to give generously to charity instead of spending loads and loads on
presents for her!!!
