This is the first time that Your Party Night has been in the Tinto Hotel, which is a very nice setting for parties, deep in rural South Lanarkshire, near the beautiful town of Biggar (the one with the disproportionately high number of museums for a town of its size) and also in the shadow of Tinto Hill, which doesn't beat Coulter Fell for the title as the county's biggest - but the locals are working on it, a stone at a time on top of the ever-growing cairn each year.

Congratulations to Douglas and Carol on their first 25 years, though Douglas did say that it has been worth every penny (??!!). This party seemed to be so good that we also had gatecrashers - from another party - join in the celebrations towards the end. It's a shame we had to finish so early.
