After a successful gala day in Coalburn, the day was brought to a close with the annual Family Night held in the Miners Welfare. Due to comments previously posted on this website, I would like to apologise sincerely to any offence that these comments may have caused, especially to Anne & Jim Burnside. The comments were posted up by an individual and were not the views of my company, Your Party Night.
Action was taken immediately (by me) to remove access to
this photo gallery in order to prevent any further embarrassment to the gala
committee members and guests attending the event as soon as the situation
was indicated to me.
I would like to thank the committee for allowing me and my operations
manager (Alex) to attended a meeting with them to discuss events leading up
to the comments being posted here. I was extremely unhappy about the lack of
professionalism shown by an employee of my company and although i cannot
give details, all committee members can be assured that action has been
taken so that things like this will never be allowed to happen again. I am
truly sorry for the actions and comments and am pleased to say that the
committee have accepted my apology, for which i am most grateful.
I would also like to express my extreme apologies to the committee members of the Miners Welfare regarding comments which were of concern to them and assure them that action has been taken by me to ensure that things like this never occur again - to them also i make this public apology
I am extremely upset that the actions by a member of my company tarnished a happy and successful gala day and apologise to the families and friends who attended the Miners Welfare for the lack of professionalism shown by members of my company, For this i am truly sorry
